Recently, Blizzard released a TBC Beta patch that changed the amount of spell power low spells get based upon the coefficient (percentage). In doing this, Blizzard accidentally lowered item coefficients such as the beloved Demon Forge Breastplate and Skull Flame Shield.
The drop was so significant that it made the Paladin community second guess the spell power dungeon farm build. Here is the breakdown of the drop vs what it should be:
Thankfully, Blizzard reverted the mistake and the items that should not have been affected by the coefficient. Knowing this changes are here to stay, continue forging those Demon Forge Breatplates and selling those Skull Flame shields!
